The course aims to provide students with
• An introduction to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for sustainable development in its unity and in its general articulation
• The analysis of the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)
• The critical discussion of the structure of the Agenda and the links between its various objectives, both in terms of synergies and possible conflicts
• Insights into some objectives of the Agenda, in connection with the specific interests and / or study plans of individual students
At the end of the course, the student will be able to discuss in depth the policies of the UN on sustainable development

Type of delivery of the course
The Course will be held in collaboration with the Master's Program "Environmental and Land Studies - Environmental Humanities." Classes will be held on Fridays from 2:30 to 7:30 p.mType of evaluation
Final discussion on a written paper of approx. 20,000 characters on a topic selected in cooperation with prof. Giardini For Erasmus students the exam can be held in their native language or in English
