The course aims to explore issues that fall within the general area of theoretical philosophy, discussing their relationships with other disciplines. The main traditions of contemporary philosophy will be addressed, with regard to the analysis of practices founding philosophical thought: discursive practices, social and political practices, scriptural practices, practices related to areas of experience and ways of life.

Hannah Arendt: A Philosophy of Praxis

The course intends to present the fundamental concepts of Hannah Arendt's thought (action, plurality, worldliness, freedom) starting from the focus on the notion of praxis.
