Each session will be structured into two distinct parts: a theoretical component, focused on exploring the history and grammar of contemporary social media and sharing platforms, and a practical component, during which students will participate in hands-on classroom activities designed to apply the concepts just covered.
At the end of each session, a group assignment will be given, to be completed and submitted during the week. Each group will be required to assign specific roles (copywriter, content creator, social media manager, camera operator, video editor, etc.), thereby simulating a real “digital editorial team.” The completed projects will then be reviewed and discussed collectively in class, in order to deepen the understanding of the workflows, opportunities, and challenges involved in social media work and its various professional roles.
At the end of the workshop, students will be assessed based on the projects submitted and the work completed both in class and at home. Evaluation will take into account not only the final outcome, but also the level of commitment, participation, quality of teamwork, punctuality in delivery, and the ability to critically apply the knowledge acquired.
