The objectives of the course are to study dance and performance in their relationship with other expressive languages and different media, with particular attention to writing, photography, and film or audiovisual productions.
Through a multidisciplinary approach, the course aims at the acquisition of knowledge related to the intermediality of the languages of the scene and the complexity of cultural contexts in which the experiences of interweaving are located also with reference to changes in image production techniques. Observing the boundary between documentation and creation, methodological questions will be raised about the production of dance memory, the fixation and circulation of its practices and the study of its materials.
