THE COURSE – WHICH IS PRELIMINARY TO THE OTHER COURSES IN PUBLIC LAW – AIMS AT OFFERING THE ACQUISITION OF THE MAIN ELEMENTS OF PUBLIC LAW. THE COURSE PROVIDES A FULL INVESTIGATION OF OUR CONSTITUTIONAL LAW SYSTEM AND OF THE ORGANIZATION OF OUR PUBLIC POWERS IN LIGHT OF THE PRESENT-DAY CONTRIBUTION OF THE SUPREME COURT DECISIONS, OF OUR PRESENCE IN THE EUROPEAN UNION, AND OF THE HISTORICAL EVOLUTION OF OUR PUBLIC LAW.

Type of delivery of the course

Lessons will take place in person. For those unable to participate, remote connection on the Microsoft Teams platform is provided. To connect, access to the Microsoft Teams platform and join the Team of the course "AA21 / 22 - PUBLIC LAW - AD" where, from week to week, the lessons will be started, following the indicated times. Lessons will not be recorded.

Attendance

Although the mode of attendance is optional, it is still highly recommended.

Type of evaluation

The exam consists of an intermediate written test, at the end of the lessons, and of an final oral test during the winter period. The intermediate written test consists of closed-ended questions, aimed at verifying the knowledge of the rights of people with disabilities. The final oral exam is aimed at verifying the degree of understanding of the fundamental concepts of public law and its institutions dealt with within the course. In the event of an extension of the health emergency from COVID-19, all the provisions governing the methods of carrying out teaching activities and student evaluation will be implemented.

Type of delivery of the course

Lessons will be dedicated to the general part of the program. The special part will be the subject of seminars.

Type of evaluation

The oral exam checks the level of understanding of the basic concepts of public law, even in the light of practice. Students will answer questions asked about the program, with reference to the recommended texts and lectures. The evaluation ranges from a minimum of 18/30, corresponding to the basic knowledge of all parts of the program and technical language, to a maximum score of 30/30 and honors, which is equivalent to mastery of the topics, excellent language property, excellent analytical ability.
