20110263 - Attività: Entertainment Law

This course aims at providing the students with a thorough understanding of the basic rules of entertainment law, also through a practical approach and focusing on the impact of new technologies within the film and music markets. Participants will develop the necessary skills for properly operating in any working activity within the whole entertainment industry, especially in the film, music and theater businesses.

The course follows both a theoretical and practical approach, mainly through the study and the analysis of contracts, providing a remarkably comprehensive view of entertainment law.

Programme

The course deals with the main legal issues concerning important aspects of entertainment law. Significant attention is reserved to practical questions on music law, cinema, and to the exploitation of new technologies in the main relevant aspects of entertainment world.

Type of delivery of the course

The teaching method adopts modern active-learning techniques which focuses on lectures, discussion and practical cases analysis.

Type of evaluation

The training activity is aimed at facilitating professional choices through direct knowledge of the work sector to which the preparation acquired during lectures may provide access. To this purpose, assiduous attendance at the lectures (at least three) and active participation in the classroom constitute evaluation criteria.
