THE COURSE AIMS TO OFFER AN IN-DEPTH STUDY OF THE ISSUES OF REGIONAL LAW AND THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN DEALT WITH IN THE FIELD OF PUBLIC LAW AND THAT CONCERN, IN PARTICULAR, THE REASONS JUSTIFYING THE REGIONAL FORM OF STATE AND ITS EVOLUTION IN THE REPUBLICAN LEGAL SYSTEM, THE SOURCES OF PRODUCTION OF REGIONAL LAW, THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE LATTER AND STATE AND SUPRANATIONAL SOURCES, THE FORM OF REGIONAL GOVERNMENT, AND THE ORGANISATION AND FUNCTIONING OF THE REGIONS.

Type of evaluation
The assessment will take the form of an oral interview with the instructor. Generally, three questions will be asked on different parts of the syllabus. To pass the exam, students must demonstrate adequate command of technical legal language and at least a basic knowledge of the required topics. For an excellent grade, it is preferable to attend classes and participate in discussions on the issues addressed in them.
