20830048 - NUMERICAL CALCULATION LABORATORY

The Numerical Computation Lab is an educational activity aimed at providing basic knowledge of scientific programming and numerical solution of application problems typical of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

It is a part of the Bachelor Degree in "Civil and Environmental Engineering", which aims to train a junior civil and environmental engineer capable of solving problems of medium complexity in the areas of water engineering, structures, geotechnics, road infrastructure and transportation systems for the mobility of people and goods.

As part of this course, teaching aims to provide basic knowledge of the main numerical methods for solving simple problems of optimization, integration or ordinary differential calculus. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to use a computational language to design and implement simple numerical computational algorithms.
