To enable students to gain a general understanding of the Italian legal system and the structure of legal sources; acquire the fundamental principles of public health protection, including citizens' rights to disease prevention and treatment, as well as the protection of health data; understand the main forms of legal protection for patients and their rights, with particular attention to the liability of healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions.
