Geomorphological and meteoceanographical design conditions. Extreme wave statistics. Wave-structure interaction. Hydraulic and stability verifications (overtopping, transmission). Design and construction of maritime works.
Structural types: rubble mound breakwaters, vertical walls, floating barriers, piled jetties, Harbour quay walls, shore protection works, offshore platforms.
