20801778 - BASICS OF AUTOMATICS

The course is a first level one in automatic control and provides methodological and practical knowledge about:
-Modelling, Simulating and analyze the behavior of physical systems, in particular those that are linear and time invariant;
-Basic concepts on the system dynamics, as stability, transient response and forced one;
-Frequency based design of feedback control systems;
-Digital implementations of linear controllers;
-Use of mainstream software tools to aid in the previous activities.
