20802073 - Optimization of Public Services

This course gives a compendium of techniques, methods and solution
approaches to support the decision making process in the public sector. The
course is based on case studies concerning the design and the management of
public services and it is focused on the development of optimization models
and solution algorithms. Ethical and political issues, typical of the public
sector, are also addressed
