First Language (1° year LLE)
Achievement of B1+ level in both receptive and productive skills. Introduction to:
a) basic knowledge and understanding of the main features of the foreign language;
b) application of acquired knowledge to short texts from different text types;
c) knowledge of some of the resources and tools for gathering and interpreting data for translation
Introduction to learning autonomy.
Written text comprehension (workshop).

Second language (LLE):
Achievement of A2 level.
Elementary knowledge and understanding of the main features of the foreign language; ability to:
a) present short descriptions in the foreign language;
b) apply acquired knowledge to the analysis of short texts.

European Language (1° year OCI)
Achievement of B1 level in both receptive and productive skills. Introduction to:
a) basic knowledge and understanding of the main features of the foreign language;
b) application of acquired knowledge to short texts from different text types;

Programme

Spanish linguistics for mediation 1. Linguistic aspects between contrastivity and interculturality

The module intends to introduce students to hispanic linguistics in a contrastive and intercultural perspective (SP/IT). The course programme will be articulated into three parts:
1. Overview of the spanish speaking world and introduction on the history of spanish;
2. Synchronic description of spanish language: phonetics, phonology and orthography; lexical morphology and semantics, introduction to the use of the dictionary;
3. Introduction to the concept of linguistic and cultural mediation; general aspects of spanish-italian translation; mediation and translation excercises based on simple texts.

The exam programme is the same for both attending and non attending students.

Detailed information concerning the course will be made accessible on the personal website of the teacher and through the Moodle platform of the course.
