Programme

Il tema dell’incontro con l’Altro ha determinato fin dall’epoca della Conquista e della Colonizzazione una serie di rappresentazioni del nuovo continente che ne hanno fissato immagini e stereotipi. Il tema, diventato poi canonico della letteratura ispanoamericana contemporanea, verrà analizzato attraverso brani scelti dalla cronachistica del XV e XVI secolo e attraverso la narrativa del Novecento.

Frontal lessons.

Attendance

Attendance is obligatory at least for 70%.

Type of evaluation

The learning process is carried out through an oral exam lasting between 20 and 30 minutes. During the exam, the student will have to demonstrate the actual comprehension of the texts in program and the ability to interpret cultural phenomena, through the tools and methodologies of literary, cultural and historical analysis. The student must also demonstrate the communicative skills necessary for the re-elaboration and transmission of disciplinary content.
