General Linguistics A LM (Module "Pragmatic") is part of the training activities. characterizing the Master's Degree Course in Modern Languages for International Communication and, specifically,
among the transversal and founding activities aimed at deepening knowledge and skills in the field of pragmatics linguistics with particular reference to Italian and the languages of study. The course aims to provide an in-depth study of specific knowledge and methodological and analytical skills of the specific sector, with consolidation
of those already acquired during the three-year course of study. The "Pragmatic" module deals in particular with the analysis of the relations between text and context; illocutivity; the theory of linguistic acts; the principle of cooperation, the maxims conversational, the implications; the theory of relevance; the assumptions; the information structure of the statement. Expected learning outcomes: students will be able to analyze the relationships between text and context; they will have in-depth knowledge of illocuity, the theory of linguistic acts, the maxims of conversationalism, the theory of the relevance, on the information structure of the statement.
