Programme

Teaching mathematics with the help of a computer: GeoGebra and Mathematica softwares.
Commands for numerical and symbolic calculus, graphics visualization, parametric surfaces and curves with animations in changing parameters.
Solving problems: triangle's properties in Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometry with examples, approximation of pi and other irrational numbers, solutions of equations and inequalities, systems of equations, defining and visualizing geometrical loci, function integral and derivatives, approximation of surface area.

Core Documentation

List of problems given in class concerning visualization and solutions with the help of software Mathematica or GeoGebra.

Type of delivery of the course

All lessons, using a cooperative organization, will be in presence in a computer laboratory and with on-line connections using TEAMS.

Attendance

Students must attend at the least the 75% of lessons to be admitted to the final exam

Type of evaluation

The oral exam will be a presentation of a composition on an innovative teaching unit which make use of a computer, on subject taken from curricular programs.
