• Introduction to the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 as a whole and in its general structure
• Analysis of the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)
• Critical discussion on the organization of the Agenda and the links between its various objectives, both in terms of synergies and of conflicts
• Insights on some of the Agenda objectives, especially concerning the specific interests and/or study plans of the students
The main objective of the course is to make the student aware of the 2030 Agenda document, illustrating its birth, the main SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and the connections between them. The student will also learn what are the strategies that can be implemented and the physical-mathematical models that can be used for the achievement of the SDGs within sustainable development.

Type of delivery of the course

The course consists of 12 multidisciplinary lectures on the 2030 Agenda (a general and introductory one, plus one for each of the 17 Agenda objectives) and from an e-learning didactic module prepared by ASviS (Italian Alliance for Development Sustainable). The lessons will be supplemented by the study of the text of the 2030 Agenda, by the readings of in-depth study indicated by the speakers and the teacher.

Type of evaluation

At the end of the course, having read all the topics covered in the program and in seminars, the student is invited to choose one or more topics and prepare a elaborate on them. The paper will be presented by the student through a interview with the teacher that can be carried out with the support of slides. The teacher's questions they will focus, in particular, on the topic chosen by the student, also evaluating knowledge acquired during the course.
