Type of delivery of the course

Frontal lessons with the use of slides that are contextually distributed to students. Three geophysics experiments are described in detail that students must conduct on their own. For each experiment, students are asked to: organize the experiment, acquire the data, analyze the data through the use of dedicated software (Matlab), interpret the results. For each experiment a detailed laboratory report is required which will be evaluated for the final verification.

Type of evaluation

The final exam takes place in a mixed form; contribute to the evaluation the laboratory activity, through the verification of the laboratory reports that are individually evaluated, and the final oral test in which is asked to the student to describe the theoretical foundations of the measurements carried out in the various experiments and to discuss the obtained results.
