This course is an introduction to schemes, sheaves, and their cohomology.

Core Documentation

We will follow the lecture notes by Prof. Angelo Felice Lopez (inspired by lecture notes of Prof. Edoardo Sernesi). Additionally, the students can consult the book Algebraic Geometry by Robin Hartshorne.

Type of delivery of the course

In-class lectures with streaming and recording.

Attendance

Students are advised to attend classes regularly and to stay up to date with course content and examination arrangements.

Type of evaluation

There will be an oral exam, where the students will give a presentation on a topic decided in advance with the instructor. Moreover, the students will answer some questions on the course program. Moreover, there will be a written form of evaluation that will be determined at the beginning of the course.
