Programme
This course is designed to furnish students with a critical and in-depth comprehension of the global and transnational dynamics that have shaped the world from the close of the Second World War to the dawn of the 21st century. By analyzing the emergence of an interconnected global society and its ramifications for political and social structures, cultural transformations, artistic idioms, and modes of communication, the course will foreground shifts in individual and collective behaviours. Particular emphasis will be placed on the ascendance of novel social subjects, such as youth, women, and minorities, as well as the global challenges pertaining to ethnic inequalities, environmental exigencies, and the promotion of peace.Core Documentation
