The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and tools to understand the similarities and differences between analogue, digital and hybrid archives; to assess how the use of technology has transformed traditional systems of archival production and preservation; and to analyse the opportunities offered by information technology and modern communication channels in the processes of safeguarding and promoting archives.
