The meetings will provide a theoretical framework that traces the reciprocal relationship between research and social service, from the 1950s to the present day, and students will be given some options for reflection in order to favor a first orientation to the internship course.

The workshop aims to introduce students to research topics in social service and provide them with a basic methodological support to the search path to be performed during the internship.

• relationship between research and social work in Italy from the 50s to today
• how to make a research design
• the identification and construction of instruments (both quantitative and qualitative) for research
• analysis on the findings of the research
The classes will promote the direct participation of students, alternating moments of lectures in active teaching methods such as group work and case studies.
