The course intends to acquire basic knowledge and techniques presented with appropriate demonstrations and practical exercises. The presentation of the methodology of scientific psychology will be taken care of. Specific educational objectives: training in phenomenological analysis for the recognition and evaluation of psychological variables; acquisition of experimental methods, correlational and clinical; training in systematic observation of behavior.

The historical frameworks of the main personality theories are provided, together with an updated knowledge of the procedures for the evaluation of relevant personological features, and of the reverberations they exert on the main psychic processes. Adequate indications on the possibilities offered in terms of explanation and prediction of individual and group conduct are added.
