Programme

Seminar (3 CFU): Reading and commentary in class on a Montessori's work: The assorbent Mind.
In this dialogic and interactive path we will try to explore in depth Montessori's thought on the processes of formation and organization of the child's mind in that decisive phase which is represented by the 3-6 years old, how to feed the development that takes place in that phase of life, both mind and body.
Seminar activities are an integral part of the teaching programme and its educational objectives.

Type of delivery of the course

A Montessori classic will be read aloud in class and commented on together, with collective discussion.

Type of evaluation

The final exam will be a multiple choice test, lasting 90 minutes, and composed of 90 questions concerning the whole programme. --- In the case of an extension of the health emergency by COVID-19 all the provisions that regulate the way in which teaching activities and student evaluation are carried out will be implemented. In particular, the following arrangements will apply: evaluation by oral test.
