Programme

The workshop will explore in depth some of the topics covered during the course, in particular activities of observation and critical analysis of the image (still and moving), focusing on some key issues:
-the connotative and denotative use of photographic genres
-the analysis of the rhetoric of photographic, filmic and media images
-the relationship between image and reality
-the different functions of the image
-analysis of film as a system
