The course is aimed at providing students with the most relevant notions on business law and company law and at helping them to develop critical skills of analysis and interpretation in relation to business law rules.
It focuses mainly on business and going concern; corporate finance; financial structure of the company; organization of companies; duties and responsibilities of the directors; acquisition of control of the companies; corporate crisis and insolvency proceedings.

Attendance

The course classes will be held from 6 October 2025 to 18 December 2025 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Participation to lessons is encouraged.

Type of evaluation

The course assessment consists of an oral test. This test is made up of three questions regarding the topics covered in the recommended texts and in the lessons of the course. In order to achieve a pass mark, a minimum of 18 out of 30 is required in the oral test. The score of 18 confirms a the basic knowledge of the subject matter including the technical language. A mark of 30 with honours confirms an excellent command of the topics, excellent technical language skills and excellent ability to analyse legal issues related to commercial law.
