21830203 - HISTORY AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS COURSE - IES

Delivered at the IES Abroad Rome Center (Institute for the International Education of Students), the course integrates history and international relations to analyse European, Mediterranean and transatlantic dynamics through site‑specific learning. Students learn to connect historical change and institutional evolution to contemporary foreign policy, governance, migration, human rights and cultural diplomacy; evaluate competing interpretations using scholarly literature and fieldwork in Rome; and communicate clear, evidence‑based analyses appropriate to MA‑level International Studies.
