Programme

The program includes a theoretical part on the main concepts of the Francophone intellectual field, with particular attention given to writers and political actors from Sub-Saharan Africa and the diaspora, as well as to decolonial thought intellectuals. A more practical section will focus on discursive analysis in the transnational context through a selection of authentic texts available on Moodle and a case study. All the texts covered in class will be part of the exam.

Type of evaluation

The exam consists of a written test and an "exposé" in French (both foreseen but not compulsory). In the absence of one of the intermediate tests (or both), the exam will be completed (or taken entirely) in oral form during the regular examination sessions.
