The course provides tools to understand the impact of environmental change on contemporary geopolitical dynamics. Students develop the ability to analyse the relationships between natural resources, state and non‑state actors, environmental security, and regional and global governance processes. The course also examines the role of climate policies, energy transitions, and emerging conflicts driven by the ecological crisis, strengthening students’ capacity to critically interpret the interconnections between environment, power and territorial dynamics.
