21830249 - THE STATE AND INSTITUTIONS IN A GLOBALISED WORLD

The course aims to provide students with a critical understanding of the transformations that globalisation has brought to the State and its institutions. Students develop analytical tools to interpret the role of the nation‑state vis‑à‑vis supranational actors, global governance processes, and increasing political and economic interdependence. The course also strengthens the ability to assess contemporary institutional challenges and to compare different state responses within an evolving global context.
