The course is presented with lectures and labs. During the lectures the theoretical concepts are exposed with the help of PowerPoint presentations. In the Labs the organisms belonging to the different taxa are shown and temporary dissections and preparations are carried out. The course includes also educational excursions to public and/or private institutions.Attendance

The written test comprises 30 open or multiple-choice questions on general topics or specifically in the botanical and zoological fields. Each correct question is evaluated 1 point, while partially correct questions are evaluated as fractions of points. Pass the written test the student who has a grade of at least 18/30. The oral exam consists of theoretical questions on the topics of the program and the final grade will average with the result of the written test. During the course "assignments" will be assigned on the topics of the lectures to stimulate students to progressively study the program and stimulate their critical sense.
