This course will allow the students to achieve the following abilities: to make experimental measurements in the field related to the course contents; to project how to make drillings; to evaluate environmental impact; to make geological analysis to support management and development plans or works; to understand, mapping and work in a landslide areas; to project water capture especially wells; to apply technical measurements in different projects about hydrogeological research.

The course program includes the presentation and discussion of the following topics:

Type of delivery of the course

The program of the course will be carried out with frontal lessons characterized by a strong interactivity during which the active participation of the students in required also thematic insights proposed by the teacher. To support the teaching, some discussions will be launched to facilitate the identification of the connections between the various topics covered. It’s planned an activity on field. In the event of an extension of the health emergency from COVID-19, all the provisions that regulate the methods for carrying out teaching activities will be implemented. In particular, the methods of live online lessons will be applied through the Teams platform.

Type of evaluation

The expected methods of ascertaining knowledge and acquired skills consist of an oral test. The ability to understand, to argue an answer and to defend the arguments presented during the exam will be evaluated. In the event of an extension of the health emergency from COVID-19, all the provisions that regulate the methods for carrying out students' evaluation will be implemented. In particular, the methods of exams will be applied through the Teams platform.
