Core Documentation

General chemistry theory lessons: "Fundamentals of Chemistry" by Schiavello, Palmisano (6th edition) - EDISES
Can be replaced by any general chemistry textbook, as long as it is at the university level.

Numerical exercises: Any university-level stoichiometry textbook can be used.
Some suggested texts:
"Esercizi di chimica generale" Alessandro Del Zotto - EDISES
"Stechiometria per la chimica Generale" Lausarot and Vaglio - PICCIN
"Capire gli esercizi di Chimica di base" - Cristina Della Pina – PICCIN

TEACHING MATERIAL PREPARED BY THE TEACHER: theory slides and collections of numerical exercises

Attendance

Mandatory attendance in classroom at 50% of theory lessons and 75% of exercises

Type of evaluation

The written exam consists of tests of nomenclature and solving problems of stoichiometry(2,5-3 h). Passing the written test allows admission to the oral test. The oral exam consists of a written test on 5 topics from all the topics of the course, followed by an interview.
