The main targets are the development of the ability to analyze the landscape through the study of vegetation and its diversifications on a regional scale. A further goal is the development of knowledge for the recognition, management and conservation of habitats starting from vegetation.

Type of evaluation
Learning verification takes place through an oral exam (30 minutes) related to the topics covered during the course, and during practical activities. Furthermore, the main features (objectives, methods and results) of a scientific paper using academic journals chosen by the candidate are discussed.
