Reference Bibliography
will be communicated during the lessonsType of delivery of the course
The course includes 36 hours of lectures on Greek art, which will be held in the classroom, plus 36 hours of lessons, always held in the classroom, on Roman art and 12 hours of lessons at museums of classical art in Rome that are an integral part of the exam program. Students who can not take part in the museum lessons are required to recover this part of the program on their own, even if they take the exam as not attending. Below is a list of museums of educational interest for the course: National Roman Museum (Palazzo Altemps, Palazzo Massimo and Terme di Diocleziano); Capitoline Museums (Palazzo dei Conservatori, Museo Nuovo, Centrale Montemartini, Museo Barracco); Museum of the Imperial Forums.Type of evaluation
The course includes two written evaluation tests at the end of each of the two thematic blocks (Greek art and Roman art). In order to complete the assignment of the CFUs, an oral examination will have to be held during one of the appeals scheduled during the exam sessions. Anyone who does not intend to support written exonerations will still be able to present themselves directly to the oral exam, supporting the entire program at once. Please note that the topics covered during the lessons in the museum will be part of the exemptions and the oral exam. Non-attending students are, however, required to prepare for themselves the works analyzed during the course in the museums of Rome (see the list in 'methods of development') and present in the textbooks for the exam.
