Programme

The course aims to provide basic knowledge of the history of Greek architecture and art (with an overview of the history of research) in their context. During the lessons, the figurative experiences, monumental achievements and urban planning of the Greek world from the 12th to the 1st century BC will be analysed in their social, political and economic context, proceeding with thematic insights and individual contexts.
