The course aims to provide a basic understanding of modern European history and its global connections between the 15th and 19th centuries. Furthermore, it aims to equip students with the analytical and methodological tools necessary for understanding and critically discussing the main factors underlying the historical development of society under the Ancien Régime and its structure.

Type of evaluation

For attending and non-attending students, the examination consists of: a written test. An oral examination is only possible for students who have scored at least 18 in the written examination and who wish to improve their grade.
