Programme

Landscape and digital archaeology Laboratory
Lectures are supported by experts from scientific institutions and local authorities, accompanied by field and laboratory visits and practical training.
Some of the topics covered will be: The significance of persistence in the urban fabric today; Historical landscapes, between archaeological research and landscape protection; Quarries (ancient and modern) and archaeological sites: a difficult relationship; Hydrogeology and anthropic choices in the southern suburbs of Rome; GIS laboratory; mobile GIS practical training; ground and drone photogrammetry laboratory; production and processing of archaeological data on historical cartography in a GIS environment.
