teacher profile teaching materials
In the first part, the main pottery classes of the imperial age will be considered, for each of which the morphological characteristics, methods of manufacture, use and distribution will be examined. The main studies on individual productions will then be reviewed, in order to acquire an orientation for the identification and problems of the specific ceramic classes.
This will be followed by a practical part dedicated to manual relief, during which the participants will learn the techniques of drawing ceramic fragments using the traditional tools usually used for this purpose.
Finally, the third part of the seminar is aimed at the digital polishing of the ceramic designs using graphic software. In this way the participants will be able to learn the basics of computer processing of drawings.
