Reading of one or more emblematic texts of odeporic literature, commentary and group analysis of emerging themes.

Prerequisiti

To have attended a course in Geography and travel literature. Excellent knowledge of Italian, written and oral; ability to read and understand theories and methods of interpretation and study of reality, both cultural and material; aptitude with articles and essays of high scientific and discipline-specific depth., to research independently. Good analytical skills, ability to identify personal and original paths of text criticism, to make comparisons.

Core Documentation

The group reading text is identified during the lessons of the Geography and Travel Literature course according to annual contingencies (publications of texts, sources and commentary, celebrations, anniversaries, etc.).

Attendance

Attendance at the workshops is compulsory to obtain the related CFUs (2)

Type of evaluation

Drafting of an original report summarising and explaining the work done in the classroom, with group presentation and commentary on the results. The original paper must be handed in in written form before the group presentation.
