Course Title:
A Chapter of Augustine's Fortune in the Middle Ages: The Dialogus de anima by Aelred of Rievaulx (ca. 1110-1167)

The module, of a monographic nature, intends to introduce the study of the compositional procedures and the use of sources, as well as the analysis of the themes and doctrinal vocabulary of one of the most famous Cistercian masters of the 12th century. - The module will also include exercises aimed at guiding the knowledge and use of the main bibliographical and IT tools for the study and research of Latin authors, from antiquity to the Middle Ages.
