The course aims to provide students with advanced knowledge of the terminology and fundamental issues in aesthetics, with a particular focus on one or more of the discipline’s most significant authors.
Students will be able to apply the knowledge they have acquired in discussion and argumentation from both a theoretical and a historical-philosophical perspective.
Students will have acquired:
- advanced critical thinking skills in relation to aesthetics;
- advanced language proficiency and argumentative skills in relation to the topics covered in the course;
- the ability to read and analyze texts;
- oral presentation of a report and/or preparation of written texts (in Italian or English)
