The final examination consists of the preparation and defense of an original thesis on a topic consistent with the educational objectives of the degree programme. It is intended to assess the student’s ability to conduct independent research, critically engage with the relevant scholarly literature and source materials, apply appropriate methodologies and analytical tools, and develop well-founded and rigorous arguments. Through the thesis, students are also expected to demonstrate their capacity for synthesis, critical thinking, and the effective communication of research findings.
