PNRR Projects for Research and Technology Transfer

The National Recovery and Resilience Plan is the tool to seize the great opportunity of Next Generation EU making Italy a more fair, green and inclusive country, with a more competitive, dynamic, and innovative economy. A set of actions and interventions designed to overcome the economic and social impacts of the pandemic and build a new Italy acting on its structural knots and providing the necessary tools to face the environmental, technological and social challenges of our time and of the future.

Roma Tre University participates in all four intervention lines provided by the PNRR for Mission 4, “Education and Research” – Component 2, “From Research to Business“:

  • CHANGES – Cultural Heritage Active Innovation for Sustainable Society, under investment 1.3 – Extended partnerships involving universities, research centers, and businesses for funding basic research projects.
  • National Biodiversity Future Center – NBFC, under investment 1.4 – Strengthening research structures and creating “national R&D champions,” identified as National Centers.

Rome Technopole Innovation Ecosystem, under investment 1.5 – Creation and strengthening of “Innovation Ecosystems” as territorial leaders in research and development.

Within investment 3.1 – Implementation of an integrated system of Research and Technological Innovation Infrastructures, Roma Tre participates in two research infrastructures: 

  • EuroNanoLab  iENTRANCE 
  • European Plate Observing System MEET – Monitoring Earth’s Evolution and Tectonics
