Technology Transfer Office

The Technology Transfer Office carries out the following activities:

• Scouting for funding opportunities and establishing partnerships for the enhancement of research;
• Matching activities between the research profiles of the Departments and the opportunities offered by calls for the exploitation of research results
• Assistance and support in promoting the establishment of university spin-offs;
• Assistance and support in creating academic incubators and in the relationship between national and international incubators and accelerators;
• Assistance and support in the relationship between spin-offs and startups among national and international institutional investors;
• Protection of intellectual and industrial property and transfer of results: management of the university patent portfolio;
• Management of participations in external entities focused on the enhancement of scientific results and the transfer of knowledge and skills to the business system;
• Support for the management of funds allocated for the enhancement  of research outcomes;
• Support for the activities of the Scientific Committee of the Research Agency;
• Management of tools for promoting and enhancing research outcomes;
• Consulting activities in fundraising, scouting, and monitoring programs, calls, and opportunities aimed at intercepting funding at regional, national, European and/or international level regarding technology transfer;
• Organization of promotional and outreach days aimed at enhancing research results;
• Management of communication tools (web pages, newsletters, shared workspaces).
