Upon completion of the course students will be able to read an urban program and to draw up a management plan ( zoning and planivolumetrico ) .

Programme

The course will deal with the use of "complex urban planning" in the context of sustainable urban regeneration in the national and European scenario.
The course objective is the study of complex urban programs, their planning procedures, approval and implementation on the territory, their implications and contingent complexities in technical, administrative and social terms, highlighting the interrelation with other sectors of territorial government and with the elements of innovation useful for the management of urban phenomena and development strategies.

The course of "Procedures for the implementation of Complex Programs" will be divided into lectures, seminars and an individual exercise.
The lessons will essentially focus on the new ways of designing urban transformation and regeneration, resulting in the emergence of new problems, or in any case the revival of the old ones in new and the changes that have taken place as a result of national and regional reforms in the field of " Government of the Territory ", of the roles and organization of the competent bodies and, more generally, of the evolution of economic conditions and social sensitivities.

- Sustainable cities, comparing European experiences.

Type of delivery of the course

Frontal lectures with the help of slides and videos consistent with the themes of the course program. As part of the lesson, students' participation will be stimulated and requested through active speeches and discussions.

Attendance

Compulsory attendance with a minimum of 75% of the lesson hours.

Type of evaluation

The exam will consist in the discussion of the individual exercise agreed with the teacher and the topics covered in the course, all aimed at verifying the level of effective understanding of the concepts and the students' ability to apply them in real contexts.
