22910170 - HISTORY OF CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION

In light of developments in historiographical studies in recent years, the educational goals of the course are aimed at acquiring and reinforce knowledge that may enable students to put in relation the history of pedagogical theories to the social reality of childhood, with particular attention to gender differences. The purpose is to make students aware that the study of past educational practice and actuality can not, on a cognitive plan, consist only of studying the models that have, over time, interpreted and represented them.
