Marco Tutino, Deputy Rector of Roma Tre University since first November 2023, delegate for budgetary policies, he is Full Professor in the scientific – disciplinary sector SECS P/07, Business Economics. From November 1, 2018, to October 19, 2023, he held the position of Director of the Department of Business Economics, Member of the Academic Senate and of the Budget and Regulations Committee.
Since 2023 he has been leading the European Project “Horizon 2020” on topic “Energy sustainability”. Furthermore, since 2018 he is Co-Editor in Chief of the Journal of Corporate Ownership & Control.
After obtaining a degree in Economics and Commerce at Luiss “Guido Carli” in Rome, he acquired a Ph.D. in Business Economics at the University of Pisa and an Advanced Professional Course in Science in Finance at Cass University of London.
He teaches “Financial Statement Analysis” and “National Accounting Principles” within the Department of Business Economics. As Erasmus coordinator of the Department, he facilitated several bilateral agreements with foreign European and American universities, such as the University at Albany (NY).
His main research areas are focused on financial information analysis (Financial Reporting/IFRS/Disclosures), corporate governance analysis in companies and the relationship with corporate strategy (Corporate Governance/Corporate Strategy), performance analysis with particular attention to listed companies (Performance Analysis/Financial Markets).
He has authored monographs and articles in national and international journals and he is a member of some European, American and Asian academic organizations. Moreover, he serves as member, the Supervisory Boards and Oversight Bodies and he held, in the banking sector, the position of Monitoring Trustee for the European Commission, appointed by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, within the GACS scheme securitizing bank bad loans from 2019 to 2022.
