PRODUCTION OF SPACE AND CULTURES OF PERFORMANCE

The course deals with the recent and current theories and trends in experience and creation of space in live arts, tackling practices, projects, and inventions of setting in site specific performance and the methods of discovery and reworking of urban and natural landscapes. Meetings and seminars with contemporary artists, curators and performers are planned, in order to discuss the relationship between cultures of performance and the invention of space concerning the question of sustainability in the present transformation of human environment.

This course is divided into two parts: a common part (18 hours) consisting in common lessons about Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals, its strcture and contents; and the second, specific part (18 hours), tackling current trends and issues on environment, sustainable development, cultural practices in public spaces and performing arts.
