The course aims to provide students with advanced knowledge of the vocabulary and the fundamental problems of aesthetics. Specific attention will be deserved to some of the most significant authors in the discipline.
Students will be able to apply the acquired knowledge to discuss and to develop arguments both in a theorical and in a historical perspective.
Students are expected to acquire the following skills:
Advanced critical thinking on aesthetics;
Advanced language and argumentation skills about the topic of the course;
Capacity to read and analyse texts about Aesthetics;
Oral and/or written presentation (Italian or English)

The course includes Lectures; Discussions with students and debates on topics covered; Oral presentations by students; Attendance is not mandatory but strongly recommended.
